Snow Update!
Posted by: Brink | Monday, September 18, 2006From Markku:
Hey guys,
Hope you are all doing great! Just wanted to drop you a quick mail and let you know what I've been up to. I’m still in New Zealand at the Quiksilver photo shoot. Its been really fun three weeks. Now I haven't been able to ride for few days cause I hurt my shoulder again. We were filming this pretty big jump at Snow Park and it was kind of windy. When I went off the jump the wind got me really bad and I landed straight on my shoulder and tore the ligament. So it shouldn't be too bad, the doctor said it should be good in two weeks. It feels better already. Anyway, I will hang out here 'till Sunday and go to Fiji for few days, then Hawaii for a week and NYC. I will be home the 26th of Sep.
Stay in touch,
Markku

Swedish ripper Hampus Mosesson is back in Sweden after his trip to Mt. Hood in June for a photoshoot. After a week in the US, he returned to Sweden to enjoy the summer full throttle. He spent his precious time back home with pool parties, playing golf, organizing the Scandinavian Golf Champs and skateboarding. He also got the cover of the newest issue of the Swedish Transition Magazine. But Hampus is looking forward to get back on his board again. His next trip will take him to Zurich, Switzerland, where he is invited to the Freestyle.ch contest, September 22-24th.
Swedish sunnyboy and spin master Chris Sörman is on tour with the Pirates to promote their newest video Lubedence. The first premier was on Friday, September 15th, in Innsbruck. After that, Chris will head to Zurich to do the Freestyle.ch contest together with Hampus. He placed 5th last year, and I’m sure he’s gonna be in the final again this year.
Thomas Harstad from Norway is on his way to Bali, where he will spend the next couple of weeks together with his Norwegian posse; chill out on the beach and surf as much as possible before he will return to the cold north of Europe again to await the first snow.
Finnish candy addict Jussi Tarvainen is back to the US. After a short trip to Finland, he flew to the US right before ASR to attend some premieres and get ready for the next season.
Frenchman Remi Lamazouere is still chilling in the French Atlantic area. He’s surfing and getting ready for the Fiasco premieres. Fiasco is the newest movie by Lester productions including parts of Remi and Joni Mäkinen.
Swedish Lady ripper Cuca Aranda is still dwelling in Australia. She’ll be back beginning of this season and ready to rock the European scene again.
So long from the European Division!
