Tyler Lepore

Joni Makinen
recenlty got back from a two-week trip in Europe, where he was shooting photos with Nick Hamilton (TransWorld Snowboarding Photo Editor). Joni will be making his way to the States next weekend to attend the Snowboarders Super Park and film a little bit for the Love/Hate film project.
Janna Meyen
had been on a crazy roll, but she unfortunately came up short on a jump recently and landed pretty flat, taking a lot of the impact on her knee. She'll be having an MRI to see what's going on, but she said she'll be back with a vengeance.
Kevin Sansalone

Roberta Rodger
just got back form an awesome trip to Japan with Hammer. They started off in Hakuba for the Hammer Cup, where they did a demo and handed out awards to the winners of the contest. Then they spent four days riding in Hakuba at Yanaba and Hakuba47, shooting in awesome weather with Vianney Tisseaux and Momoko from Snowboarder Japan, who is writing a story on the trip. Next up was a day of shopping in Tokyo, which, of course, was awesome! The crew also stopped by TransWorld Japan to meet with the Editor and Photo Editor. Then came Gifu, to attend a demo day where people could ride all of next year's boards. The weather wasn't the best, but our crew did a demo on a jump and helped coach a snow clinic, which the Japanese were the most stoked on. They really do things differently over there. They had a little kicker, then a gap to a rectangular snow box set-up for the clinic. It was so weird, but pretty fun. Of course, the Japanese are so nice and very appreciative of any help you give them. They definitely get stoked! The trip ended back in Tokyo for one last quick shopping trip. Roberta had an awesome time, but was definitely stoked to be home resting after all the trains and traveling in Japan. She's home for the next week, then off to Tahoe for Shannon's Pajama photo shoot.

Snow Team Report
Posted by: Mike Matz | Thursday, March 11, 2004Spring is just around the corner and the season is slowing down, but not for the ThirtyTwo team.

Dionne Delesalle
has been hitting-up the backcountry every day since his return from Japan. He reported that his season is at its all-time high so far. Dionne will be fully committed to have a solid film part with White Out Films in their new production of Positron scheduled to be released this Fall.
After returning from Japan, John Jackson
went straight up to Tahoe to get back on track with Standard Films. He'll be concentrating on filming everyday for the rest of the season. John will also be heading to Finland sometime this week to hit-up some new terrain.

Nicolas Droz
has been going non-stop this season. He reported that he's been super-motivated and stoked to work with all of his good friends from his home town of Thonon, France. Nico will be dedicating his season to filming with Absinth Films. Look out for details on premiere dates.
Markku Koski
represented out in Japan at the Slope Style event, but unfortunately, tweaked his ankle. He reported that it wasn't bad, but he's going to play it safe by staying off of it for a week or two to see how he feels. He's scheduled to compete in the Battle in Sweden later this month and then hit up the Quick Cup afterwards. Markku will also attend the Arctic Challenge in early May and then head back to the States to film with Standard Films.
Tyler Lepore
spent a couple of extra days in Tokyo after the Slope Style event in Sapporo, Japan, where he met-up with his watch sponsor to discuss new
designs and to hit-up a few shops for some feedback. Tyler will be appearing in a few film projects this year, including The Skids, Positron and Alterna Actions Films.
Roberta Rodger
was last seen at Sole Technology headquarters for a catalog photo shoot on March 3, 2004. She, among the other girls who ride for etnies, such as Jodie Nelson, Mary Osborne, Lauren Perkins and Alexis Waite, were hanging-out last week doiing a photo shoot for the Women's division of etnies. After the photo shoot, Roberta went back to Vancouver for a couple of days and then headed straight to Tahoe for the Team Challenge. Immediately after that, she will be heading to Japan for a ten-day tour with her board sponsor from March 12 - 22. She'll be hitting-up shops, as well as snowboarding with her Japanese fans.
Kevin Sansalone
is killing two birds with one stone. He'll be filming with the White Out crew for Positron in Canada, as well as filming for his own project in Skids 4: Don't Trust a Man with a Mustache. Kevin has been extremely busy working on both projects and has reported positive vibes for a successful turn out.
Joni Makinen
was last seen in France with Nick Hamilton (Photo Editor for TransWorld Snowboarding) hitting the backcountry of the Swiss alps. Joni's been on a mission this season to get as many photos as he can. So far, he's been on a roll and reported that he's doing really well and can't wait to come out to the States for some spring shredding.
Janna Meyen
is unstoppable! She just won the last stop of the Triple Crown at North Star this past weekend. She's on a mission to show everyone that she can take every contest this year, and from the looks of it, she probably will. Congratulations, Janna! She'll be competing at the Boost
Mobile contest scheduled for the last weekend of this month in Chicago. Look out, girls....
Alexis Waite
was last seen here at Sole Technology headquarters, posing in front of the camera for the Women's division of etnies consumer catalogs. Alexis recently got back from Japan, where she impressed quite of few of the riders out there. Lexi stepped up to a twenty-stair kinked handrail just outside of Sapporo and stomped a boardslide to fakie on her first try. It was awesome to see her square-up on the rail and ride out of it as smooth as butter, not to mention that a certain unnamed rider wrecked himself right before she slaughtered that rail.
Wille Yli-Luoma
has been busy shooting in the backcountry with Mack Dawg. They've been going out every day to Spot "X", trying to get as much footage as possible, but Wille reported that this year has been one of the toughest to get footage. He'll be heading to Oregon this week and then to Canada. Wille will also venture to Chicago toward the end of this month to compete in the Boost Mobile contest.
